Equipment Tips for Floating CandlesDefinitely use a primed wick with your floating candle. If your wick gets wet your candle won’t burn. A well primed wick will also help protect your candles burning capabilities in case it gets splashed. |
Once you've made your floating candles you'll want to make sure you have prepared some great places to leave them floating.
You could drop a floating candle into a goblet or wine glass. A margarita glass is great for three small candles.
Or perhaps try filling a votive holder with water and make a lovely floating votive!
And of course, don't forget to fill a large bowl with water and float several candles in it to make a warm, beautiful centerpiece for your next dinner party.
